The Michigan Vintage Volkswagen Club
Our Mission: Preserving And Enjoying All Volkswagens
MVVC History
The club incorporated officially as the Michigan Vintage Volkswagen Club in 1987.
Our original emphasis was on air-cooled Volkswagens, but since 2013, the MVVC has shifted its focus,
welcoming all Volkswagens; air cooled, water cooled and now, electric.
The goal of the MVVC website is to provide a comprehensive source of club related
information and an event calendar.
It is supplemented by the MVVC Facebook Page.
MVVC Festival
The annual MVVC festival draws VW enthusiasts from across North America,
displaying some of the finest vintage VWs, alongside more contemporary Volkswagens.
The MVVC Festival is held in conjunction with the Bavarian Festival in Frankenmuth.
This collaboration opens our show to a larger group of spectators, which would not ordinarily have exposure to a VW car show.
MVVC Annual Membership Meeting and Holiday Party
At the annual membership meeting, we get together for a meal and fellowship.
The election of MVVC officers is held during this meeting, along with other club business.
A charity auction provides entertaiment for our membership and help for those in need.
MVVC Newsletter
The MVVC Newsletter is published quarterly and is distributed via emailed links.
The newsletter features articles written by club officers, notification of club and other Volkswagen related events,
some light technical content and a forum for dialogue generated by our members.
Past and present newsletters can also be accessed on the Reference page.
